Summer activities & experiences

Below you will find a brief overview of the most important activities Samnaun has to offer in summer. Hiking

Our vacation apartments offer the optimal starting point for hiking. Either start walking directly or take the nearby cable car up (free of charge) to save yourself a few meters of altitude. Enjoy beautiful alpine landscapes on over 250km of well-signposted hiking trails.

Mountainbiking

Discover the natural mountain world of Samnaun by mountain bike or e-bike. In summer you can comfortably ride up the mountain with the cable car. Once at the top, numerous and varied bike tours await you. On the Alp Trida, for example, mountain bike legend Claudio Caluori has created the "Freeride Trail" and the "Enduro Trail".

In the Family Climbing and Bouldering Park on Alp Trida, Switzerland, idyllically located on the Milbach, 9 boulders and a climbing rock await you, each one can be conquered on many different routes - an ideal terrain for beginners and professionals.

Discgolf

In disc golf, Frisbees are thrown at baskets. The one with the fewest throws wins. There are two facilities. The disc golf course at the Vitaparcours in Samnaun Dorf consists of 18 lanes, the course on the Alptrider Sattel of 9 lanes. The facilities are freely accessible.

Motorcycle tours

Perfectly located in the border triangle of Switzerland - Austria - Italy, Samnaun is the ideal starting point for numerous and varied motorcycle tours. Already the road up to Samnaun with its altitude difference of approx. 800m and the numerous curves ensures excitement and driving fun.

Monster-Trotti

Rent a monster scooter and tackle the rapid descents of the flow trails from the Viderjoch and Alptrider Sattel. You can comfortably reach the starting point of the downhill runs with the chairlift.

After an active day of hiking you will find relaxation in the Alpenquell adventure pool. A large swimming pool, whirlpools and massage jets, an ice-cold spring water shower, a steam bath and a sauna area with panoramic view await you. As a guest of Samnaun the entrance is free of charge.
